bodhisattva story across one whole page and that newspaper is desperately trying to avoid bankruptcy so they need to be extremely sensitive to their readership and what will sell papers. so we have these phenomena at the same time: the taliban destroyed the bamayan buddhas without any care for the sensitivities of the buddhist community worldwide. but now they are allowing a buddhist statue to be exhibited in kabul. the british have returned a rather insignificant statue to afghanistan and arranged for extensive coverage of a rather insignificant event in two major british papers. the republicans in america want peace more than president obama. president obama is seen messing around with his niece and spent more time on the olympics for chicago than peace on earth. the media give coverage voluntarily to a number of ridiculous phenomena: mr gordon brown’ relentless initiatives to get publicity which involve spending money he does not have. mr tony blair’s relentless efforts to become president of europe even though he was reported to want to go to war in zimbabwe and mr mugabe now wants forgiveness. this is reminiscent of the atomic bombs on japan when they had already pleaded for peace. it is also reminiscent of the war in iraq when saddam hussein denied (correctly) having weapons of mass destruction. a minor buddhist icon goes back to a remote foreign country. this is absolutely, monumentally ridiculous behaviour. mr blair’s ridiculous behaviour. you decide. but i say you should consider this. there is something hysterical about every significant act that mr blair has involved himself in since he left power. what puzzles me it this: there is a photograph in yesterday’s financial times of mr blair, who clearly attaches the highest importance to his about enlightenment experiences in your book on enlightenment and the body. i consider choesang tsomo to be one of the highest mystics in christendom who is not, repeat not, on the path to enlightenment. she does not want that, nor do i. the reason is this. there is not one ounce of point in being enlightened if you are not wise and you are not altruistic. where on the bodhisattva path do you think choegyam trungpa was authenticated to be? sorry, i won’t call him rinpochey (with a y to save the embarrassment of people new to the dharma who say rinposh). rinpochey implies he was precious. i cannot for the life of me fathom out how a buddha with clear light mind and bliss needed to get married and have sex. and all that catastrophic stuff about sex and aids as well. if you find me disrespectful, here is an aside on hh dalai lama. if his holiness is authentically the buddha of compassion, how is it that we have been trying for maybe six weeks to date to get his holiness to stop using carbon as an example to world leaders and the public. he should be able to do yogic flying. if he can’t he cannot be a buddha. he should be clairvoyant enough to read this website. if he is clairvoyant then he is ignoring it. therefore he is not altruistic or he is not wise. if he is not clairvoyant he should hand back the crown. lastly, what on this planet has his holiness ever done to justify peace in the nobel? apart from talk about it. mandela did more than he did. he gave usd 100,000 to a western university but the tibetans in dharamshala go starving. i want to ask you to go back to your book on enlightenment and the body. could you get specific please? we reached chapter thirty seven, repeat chapter thirty seven last night. we had read it before and re-read it for altruistic reasons under sufferance. choesang tsomo has herself experienced so-called body psychotherapy. excuse me please but what she experienced was utter garbage. (that is an extremely offensive word in britain but not in america i think). choesang tsomo has no knowledge of tantric clearing and does not want it. i could not keep her as a disciple if i tried to teach her that. now then, if you look at the mq (mystical intelligence) domain on www.trustgoodness.com , you will see rather a great deal of specific information about mq experiences which may or may not relate to enlightenment and may or may not be caused by contemplation. one thing which we put on but downloaded for safety was a diet plan for people in asylum experiencing mq problems. it almost certainly encompasses people in meditative practices in the long term. this involved clearing the body of toxins by large quantities of water, carbohydrates, vegetable proteins and fibre but eliminating completely all animal fats and animal protein apart from skimmed milk. we also learned from a doctor specialising in nutrition that there are a very high number of vegan buddhists in the uk with severe mineral deficits. the problem you have is that people now have such accumulations of toxins and cortisol induced trauma in their somatic cells that they hit mysticism (mq) and then hit trauma and then hit toxins then go into phenomenal spin with their behaviour, as you once did. i have put on the mq domain a text about a buddhist monastic in britain who was said to have been expelled from his monastery for his alleged bad behaviour and then committed suicide in despair. his monastery simply did not recognise stuck trauma mq and possible diet disorders. what you westerners are doing with the original buddhist monastic diet is totally harmful and destructive. the same may be true of channel clearing with tantra, neither of us know at the moment. you see, i will only channel what choesang tsomo can verify and she will not sit and stare at the end of her nose and think of nothing. my student, choesang tsomo will not engage with any of that. she simply gets on with dealing with the buddha’s third pure precept: completely purify your afflictive emotions. as far as clearing the body’s channels, winds, loongs and all that stuff goes, she does two things par excellence. she does mindfulness of the body and mind as she was taught by the most venerable thich nhat hanh at plum village. and she does the tibetan mantra of do not disturb yourself with afflictive emotions. as a result of those two life practices and a total clearance of toxins in her body she is now clear of somatic obstacles. i should add that she takes the top advice in britain on mineral supplements which are impossible to obtain from a western diet now. without those she would be in the most catastrophically critical despair in her body. now i, ktr, will get specific about your book on enlightenment. we have seen wisdom from you some years ago when you put a regular snippet of wisdom on a log on your website. we watched it regularly and were inspired by the insights you manifested. we consider you and pema chodron to be two of the most accessible teachers in westernised buddhism, but something has gone wrong with both of you. pema chodron refuses to correspond by email on her website which leaves me wondering about the bodhisattva vows. and you appear to have forsaken your tantric origins with choegyam trungpa and incorporated western thinking (and thinking of your own invention). or am i wrong? what i find really offensive is this. you once traded in the tibetan lineage title you were given by trungpa. now you appear to have taken over the phd and alleged doctor title of the west. there is an alleged betrayal of your responsibilities going on here which is disturbing in the extreme. i cannot put on line what i want to say because you might take out litigation against choesang tsomo for typing it. i will simply say this: how many of your afflictive emotions have you really cleared? i cannot bring myself to re-read your book beyond chapter 37 and we have turned straight to the only memorable chapter in the book touching enlightenment . the one on body work towards the end. the point is this: have you started a new lineage on the basis of trungpa’s authorising you to teach tantra and buddhism?
